Money Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom – By: Tony Robbins

I first heard about this book when reading an article in Fortune Magazine and was immediately interested. I had listened to Tony Robbin’s Personal Power II: The Driving Force! program in the past and have been a longtime fan of his. I was now excited to read his new book and bought it.

After reading MONEY Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom I can honestly say I was surprised (in a good way) because here’s a guy with no past financial background who wrote an excellent and entertaining book on personal finance and investments.

The book covers excellent material on personal finance management and investments. It’ll explain to its reader’s different financial products that essential to building wealth. The financial products Tony covers in his book are uncommon to the average person but very important investment vehicles.

This book covers investment practices used by the top 1% and how common individuals too can take advantage of the same investment strategies to create their own wealth. The book shows and explains the investment portfolios from the top investment gurus.

Tony Robbins had interview 50 great investors for this book over a four year period. Tony believes that in order to “master the game of money” you need to learn from the best.

The book encourages its readers to think about where they are financially and has steps to guide its readers to make short and long term financial goals.

You’ll also learn about the power of compounding interests, something we always hear about and may think we understand, although most of us do not fully understand the power of compounding interest. Tony give’s his readers a new perception and appreciation to this phase “compounding interest.”

I was intrigued by this book, even though much of the material covered I was already very familiar with. In college, I majored in Business Administration and Finance, I’d also been trained and worked as a financial advisor at one of the largest and long-time established financial institutions. Tony Robbins new book still reinforced my previous knowledge and gave me a different understanding on some of the financial and investment material covered in this book.

It’s somewhat of a lengthy read (600 plus pages) but it’s also an easy and very informative read. I very much enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone, no matter your skill level of personal finance and investments you’ll be sure to learn something new and/or expand your current existing knowledge.
